We are seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to report to our Director, Development. The Lead Mobile Developer will be the expert and team leader for all things App related. You will be the first full-time mobile developer and will need to bring a strong production background on React Native apps and desire to lead and grow a team alongside you.
In this role, you will deliver well designed, highly testable, and resilient mobile applications for our patient and practice segments. You will also be instrumental in driving our mobile technology roadmap forward and evangelizing mobile development and testing practices.
WHAT YOU?LL DO
Developing and shipping new features at high velocity and high quality for our React Native App
Taking ownership of our existing React Native app, with an eye to user experience, security, and scalability
Helping drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class user experience
Building and mentoring a team of mobile developers and fostering a growth-oriented culture
Collaborating with other development and infrastructure teams to ensure the app fits well within the infrastructure
Partnering with our Product Managers and Designers to turn excellent designs into beautiful outcomes
Building tools for yourself and others to increase efficiency and reduce the redundancy of repetitive tasks
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
Hands-on experience architecting and launching complex native products from concept to market release.
Successfully published apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store before, and therefore an understanding of how to successfully publish apps
A keen eye towards UX best practices and constraints in a native mobile application
Experience working in an agile team environment
A strong understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD and you are not afraid of deploying, operating, and owning your applications.
You have experience building and mentoring teams of skilled react native developers creating innovative and forward-thinking digital products for consumers.
You take ownership of what you are working on, feel responsible for it and are able to deliver results in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment without constant supervision.
