Description:

Seeking skilled Punch Press and Brake Press or Spot Welding operators with a background in a heavy manufacturing environment. RWI has added hospital beds into their product line to do everything they can to help during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Candidates need to have experience operating a Punch Press, Brake Press, Shears, or Spot Welding Machine

Candidates will need 2-3 years of setting up and operating a Punch Press (up to 500 ton press) or Brake Press machine. Candidates must have the ability to set up and operate the presses. Candidates must be able to read blue prints and utilize measuring instruments such as mics, cals, and rulers. Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs of steel material. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform maintenance tasks on the equipment.

Candidates will set up (2-3 set ups per shift) and operate a variety of Punch Press and Brake press machines making necessary adjustments to the machine, loading and off loading material, and quality inspecting finished product. These candidates will be manufacturing hospital beds. Main responsibilities will be to set up and operate the equipment. Troubleshoot any mechanical issues to the equipment to maintain production. Perform maintenance tasks on equipment. Quality checks throughout production process, utilizing measuring instruments and paper documentation

RWI is ramping up their 1st shift because of a product line change. Due to COVID-19 they are beginning to manufacture hospital beds for medical facilities and hospitals.

1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm

Pay $17-$17.50 an hour
